The Springfield KLIFE Dodgeball Tournament is a community-wide fundraising event for 6th-12th-grade students in Springfield. Being a ministry funded solely through the generous donations of local families and businesses, this serves as a great opportunity for you to play a crucial part in keeping our doors open throughout the year. All tournament entry fees and donations will directly support KLIFE’s programming and mentorship efforts in the community. Concessions will be available to purchase.
Register by Jan 19th to include a Dodgeball t-shirt!
General Rules
Small Group Teams
Maximum 8 Players (small group leaders included)
If small groups have more than 8, then they should create multiple teams and recruit friends.
Students do not need to be in a current small group to participate
Full teams will have an advantage.
Gameplay
Games will consist of best 2 out of 3 Round Robin Play, and then a single-elimination tournament.
Games will be 5 minutes long
Two Age Divisions
Middle School 6-8th Grade
High School 9-12th Grade
Co-Ed Games, but not teams
Boys and Girls will play against each other, but cannot combine teams.
Each girl will be assigned one extra life during any co-ed games.
Headshots result in an automatic elimination for the thrower.
Life Bands
$5 Each
Life Bands may be purchased BEFORE and DURING gameplay.
Life Bands allow you an additional "life" during the game.
Life bands may not be used during the final minute of game play.

Best Dressed Teams - Prize TBD
Each team will be encouraged to have a Team Theme. This could be a color, costume, matching T-shirts, etc. The more creative, the better your chances are at winning!
DAY OF SCHEDULE
12:00-2:00pm - Middle School 6-8th grade
2:30-4:30pm - High School 9-12th grade
Check In:
Please arrive by your division start time for check in. All are welcome and day of sign ups are encouraged! We will have a check in table ready at the entrance of the basketball gym. At check in all we need is the player's name. If you've already registered with a ticket, we'll check you in and give you your t-shirt, or you will have the option to pay when you arrive. Every player must have a student waiver filled out if you have not done so already. (You will be able to sign one at the check in table). Bring money because Life Bands (extra lives $5ea.) and concessions will also be available for purchase for the duration of the tournament.
Arrival/Parking:
Please enter through the main Gym entrance of Greenwood on Bear Blvd. You will be able to park at either the lot directly on the west side of the school or in the MSU Welcome Center parking lot off of national. See the picture of the specific lots we are referring too. We will also have staff greeting at each of the lots to make it easier. Then walk to the Gym and look for our KLIFE welcome staff.
