The heartbeat of KLIFE

Small groups exist to give students the opportunity to have peers and a mentor leader to come alongside them as they navigate the highs and lows of life. The purpose of these groups is for kids to gain a greater knowledge of God’s word, build Godly community with peers, and engage with the Bible. Small groups consist of boys or girls in the same grade and they are lead by college students, young professionals, or full-time staff members who have a heart for ministry and working with kids.

All KLIFE volunteers go through an extensive vetting, screening, and training process with a full-time staff member. Your child’s physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing is our number one priority. Each volunteer also makes a commitment to live a life worth modeling and worthy of the call in which they’ve received.

Small groups meet once a week and study the Bible with curriculum approved by the KLIFE staff. The time they meet is determined each semester by the leader of the group and the parents.

We have small groups for students 6th-12th grade all across the Springfield area!

How to join a small group:

Fill out a Student Waiver for the Springfield Chapter! Once your waiver has been received, a KLIFE staff member will email you with detailed information to get you connected to the small group that works best for your student.
